What does "Merchant of Record" mean? add
DorskoPay is the legal seller for every transaction on your checkout. That means we take on payment processing, sales tax/VAT collection and remittance, fraud liability and compliance — you simply receive your payout.
Is there really no monthly cost on Starter? add
Correct. Starter is free forever. You only pay the per-sale commission (5% + 50¢) when you actually make money.
How does the commission get lower? add
Upgrade your plan: Growth drops the fee to 3.5% + 50¢, and Scale negotiates a custom rate starting at 2.9%. If you sell at volume, the upgrade pays for itself.
When do I get paid? add
Funds from each sale become available after a 7-business-day settlement period, then are paid out in the next weekly batch — every Monday — as one consolidated transfer to your bank account.
Can I switch or cancel anytime? add
Yes. Plan changes apply immediately, and there's no lock-in or cancellation fee. Downgrading simply restores the higher commission rate.
