Delivery Policy
How digital software bought through a DorskoPay checkout is delivered, when, and what to do if it is not.
The short version
- check Everything sold through DorskoPay is digital. Nothing is shipped, and there are no delivery charges or customs steps.
- check Delivery is normally immediate after payment is authorised.
- check DorskoPay owes you delivery as seller of record; the supplier performs it. If it fails, your remedy is against DorskoPay.
- check Check the spam folder of the address you used at checkout first — it resolves most reported non-deliveries.
- check A product that is never delivered is refunded in full.
1. Everything sold here is digital
DorskoPay is built for software and digital software products. Nothing is shipped physically. There are no delivery charges, no customs procedures, no courier arrangements and no tracking numbers.
"Delivery" means that the access you paid for has been made available to you: an account provisioned, a licence issued, a download made available, or a subscription activated.
Physical goods are outside the platform's scope and are prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy unless separately approved in writing.
2. How each product type is delivered
- SaaS account activation
- Your account is created, or your existing account is upgraded, on the supplier's platform. Sign-in details or an activation link are sent to the email address used at checkout. Delivery is complete when the account is provisioned and the access is available to you.
- Software licence
- A licence key or activation code is issued and delivered by email, or made available in the supplier's dashboard. Delivery is complete when the key has been issued and made available to you — a key that does not activate has not been delivered.
- Downloadable software
- A download link is provided after payment. Where a link expires, or is limited to a number of devices or downloads, the supplier must state that on the product before purchase. Delivery is complete when the download is available to you.
- Plugin or extension
- A download and, where applicable, a licence key are provided so the plugin can be installed and activated in the host application. Delivery is complete when both have been made available.
- API or developer access
- API credentials, keys or access scopes are provisioned on the supplier's platform. Delivery is complete when the credentials work against the documented endpoints.
- Subscription activation
- Access begins when the subscription starts — immediately, or at the end of a free trial where one applies — and continues for each period paid for. Delivery for a subscription is continuing: it is not a single event but the maintenance of access throughout the paid period.
3. Timing
Digital delivery is normally immediate. Completion of payment triggers a signed webhook event to the supplier, and the supplier provisions access from that event.
Where a product requires a manual step by the supplier — an account set up by hand, a bespoke configuration, an onboarding call before access is granted — the expected timeframe must be stated on the product before purchase. A product that does not state a manual delivery timeframe is expected to deliver immediately.
Products with long or open-ended delivery timelines — pre-orders, unreleased software, or access promised at an unspecified future date — are outside the initial production scope of the platform and may not be sold through it without written approval.
4. Delayed fulfilment
Where delivery does not complete promptly, the platform records the failure and the supplier is notified. Webhook delivery is retried automatically, so a transient failure on the supplier's side does not normally require any action from you.
Where delivery is delayed beyond the timeframe stated for the product, you may either wait for delivery or ask for the purchase to be cancelled and refunded. That choice is yours, and asking for one does not prevent you from later asking for the other.
Where a delay is caused by a fraud, sanctions or verification check on the transaction, clause 8 applies.
5. Who is responsible for what
This distinction matters, and it is the reason the Merchant of Record model works the way it does:
| DorskoPay | Supplier | |
|---|---|---|
| Contract with the buyer | Yes — seller of record | No |
| The payment, receipt and tax documentation | Yes | No |
| Owes you delivery under the contract | Yes | No |
| Performs the fulfilment | No | Yes |
| Keeps the product available for the paid period | No | Yes |
| Product support | No — escalates to the supplier | Yes |
| Refunds and disputes | Yes | No — cooperates and may bear the cost |
In short: the supplier does the delivering, but DorskoPay is the party that owes it to you. You never have to pursue the supplier yourself, and a supplier's failure to fulfil is not a defence available to DorskoPay against you.
The supplier's corresponding obligations to DorskoPay are set out in the Supplier Agreement.
6. If something is not delivered
- 6.1 Check the spam, junk and promotional folders of the email address you used at checkout. Activation emails and licence keys are filtered there more often than anywhere else, and this resolves the majority of reported non-deliveries.
- 6.2 Check whether the supplier's product shows the purchase — many SaaS products activate the account silently without sending a separate email.
- 6.3 If access still has not arrived, contact support@dorskopay.com with your transaction reference and the email address used at checkout.
We will check the delivery record on our side, confirm whether the fulfilment event reached the supplier, and raise it with the supplier where it did.
Where a product was not delivered, it is refunded in full under the Refund Policy. Where it was delivered but did not reach you, we arrange re-delivery to the correct address.
7. Remedies where delivery fails
- Re-delivery — where the product was issued but did not reach you, or reached the wrong address.
- A replacement licence or credential — where a key or credential was issued but does not work.
- A full refund — where the product was never delivered, or delivery cannot be completed within a reasonable time.
- A pro-rata refund — where a subscription service was unavailable for a sustained period within a paid term.
These are in addition to, and do not limit, the statutory remedies available to you as a consumer under applicable law.
8. Security checks that may delay activation
A transaction may be held for a fraud, sanctions or verification review before delivery is released. This is uncommon, it is not an accusation, and it is a control our payment partners require.
Where an order is held, we tell you that it is held and give you an expected timeframe. If the check clears, delivery proceeds. If it cannot be cleared, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.
We do not disclose the specific indicators that cause a review, for the reason given in clause 11 of the Refund Policy.
9. Product availability after delivery
For a subscription or hosted service, delivery is continuing: the supplier must keep the product available for each period you have paid for.
A short, ordinary interruption — routine maintenance, a brief outage — is not a failure of delivery. A sustained unavailability that deprives you of the access you paid for is, and clause 7 applies.
Where a supplier withdraws a product or ceases trading during a period you have paid for, contact us. As seller of record we refund the unexpired portion; you do not have to pursue the supplier.
10. Contact
Delivery problems, missing licence keys and activation failures go to support@dorskopay.com with your transaction reference. Product usage questions are answered fastest by the supplier named on your receipt.
