Live calculation

The correct rate for the buyer's country is looked up and applied at checkout, in real time, before the customer pays.

Inclusive or exclusive pricing

Set your price as tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive per product — the checkout does the math either way.

description

Tax documentation

Sandbox checkouts generate an illustrative receipt showing the tax line. In production, approved transactions are intended to generate buyer-facing tax documentation under DorskoPay's Merchant of Record structure where legally applicable.

groups

Merchant of Record on every sale

Under the Merchant of Record model, DorskoPay is the seller on record for each transaction, so the tax obligation on that sale sits with the platform rather than with the supplier.

Discount-aware

Promo codes are applied before tax, so the tax shown always reflects what the customer actually pays.

62 jurisdictions configured

Rates are configured for 62 jurisdictions in the sandbox today. A configured rate means checkout can calculate that tax; it does not mean DorskoPay currently holds a registration there.

Being upfront

What exists today. What comes with production.

Correct tax calculation at checkout is built and testable in the sandbox. Registrations, filing and remittance are production capabilities that will be activated as part of the rollout — not something we claim to have finished.

These capabilities depend on registrations and payment-partner arrangements that are not yet in place. We will say so here when each one goes live.

Tax, answered

Do I need to register for VAT or sales tax myself? add

Under the Merchant of Record model, DorskoPay is the seller of record on the tax invoice, so the transaction tax obligation sits with the platform rather than with you. Registration, filing and remittance capabilities are activated as part of the production rollout. Your own domestic obligations for your business income remain yours; talk to your accountant about those.

Is tax calculation accurate for every product? add

Rates are applied per country based on the price's tax category and whether the price is set as inclusive or exclusive of tax.

Do you support B2B VAT ID / reverse charge? add

The B2B/B2C distinction and the VAT ID workflow are part of the sandbox tax architecture. Reverse-charge treatment in production depends on our own registrations, which are part of the production rollout.

How are refunds handled for tax? add

When a payment is refunded, the tax portion is refunded along with the rest of the transaction — it's the same reversal, not a separate process.
